SEO & AI SEARCH VISIBILITY
SEO & AI Search Visibility
Be easy to find, wherever people search.
People who search for what you sell are telling you exactly what they want. I help small businesses show up for those searches, on Google, on Bing, and in the AI answers from tools like Google AI Mode, ChatGPT and Copilot that more people now rely on.

Why SEO matters more now, not less
Search traffic comes from intent. Nobody stumbles onto "conversion tracking not working" by accident. That's why search tends to be some of the best-converting traffic a business can earn.
What's changed is where the answers appear. Google made AI Mode its default search experience in May 2026 (PR Daily, 2026), and 46% of AI users now start purchase research on a standalone AI platform, up from 25% in 2024 (MarTech, 2026).
Showing up there takes the same foundation as good SEO, plus a few newer steps: making sure AI crawlers can actually read your site, and building a reputation across the web that AI tools trust. More on that in Does SEO still matter with AI search?
Is this right for you?
- Your website gets little or no traffic from Google
- You're paying for ads to get every single visitor
- You're not sure whether Google or AI tools can even read your site
- Search Console keeps emailing you about indexing problems
- You have a blog but it doesn't bring in customers
- You want to show up when people ask ChatGPT or Google's AI for a recommendation
What I work on
Technical SEO and AI crawlability
- Indexing issues, canonical tags, redirects and duplicate pages
- Robots.txt and AI crawler access (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and others)
- Making sure content is in the HTML that crawlers see, not just rendered by JavaScript
- Sitemaps, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and IndexNow
- Page speed and mobile experience
Structured data
- Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, Product, Article and FAQ schema
- llms.txt files for AI tools
Keywords and content
- Keyword research focused on terms you can realistically win, not vanity terms
- Service and product page improvements
- Blog and content strategy built around the questions your customers ask
- Content written with direct answers, real examples and cited sources
Local SEO
- Google Business Profile setup and optimization
- Consistent business details across directories
Reputation and mentions
- Building brand mentions and links through digital PR
How it works
- Intro. Tell me about your business, your customers and what you want to be found for.
- Access. Google Search Console, analytics and your website platform. You keep full ownership.
- Audit. I check crawlability, indexing, AI access, structured data, site speed, your current rankings and your best keyword opportunities.
- Plan. You get a prioritized list: technical fixes first, then pages to improve, then content to create.
- Implement or hand off. I can make the changes and write content, or you can take the plan and run with it.
What you'll leave with
- A plain-language audit of your site's search and AI visibility
- A list of technical fixes, in priority order
- Keyword opportunities matched to what you sell
- A content plan built around real search questions
- Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools set up correctly
- Monthly reporting on rankings, traffic and leads if you choose ongoing SEO

What to expect
SEO is a long game. Technical fixes can show results within weeks, but rankings, content and reputation usually build over 6 to 12 months. I'll be clear about what's realistic for your site and won't promise rankings nobody can guarantee.
Why work with me
- 12+ years in digital marketing, including paid search, so I know what search traffic is worth and which terms actually lead to customers
- I practice what I recommend. I built this site's SEO foundation myself: AI crawler access, structured data, sitemaps, Bing and Google setup, and posts targeting realistic keywords.
- SEO and paid media together. I can show you which searches to win organically and which are worth paying for.
- Plain language. You'll understand what's being done and why.
Common questions
How much does SEO cost for a small business?
My SEO and AI visibility audits start at $400, and ongoing SEO starts at $500 a month. Freelance SEO retainers in 2026 commonly run $500 to $5,000+ a month.
How long does SEO take?
Technical fixes can help within weeks. Rankings and content usually take 6 to 12 months to build.
Can you guarantee first-page rankings?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Nobody controls Google's rankings. I focus on the things that reliably improve your chances and report honestly on results.
What's the difference between SEO and AI search optimization?
They overlap heavily. AI tools rely on many of the same signals as search engines. AI search optimization adds steps like making sure AI crawlers can access your content, structuring answers clearly, and building mentions on other credible sites.
Do I need to write blog posts?
Not always. Many small sites get more from fixing technical issues and improving service pages first. Blog posts help when they answer real questions your customers search for.
Can you work on my Shopify, WordPress or website-builder site?
Yes. I work with Shopify, WordPress and most popular website builders.
